The colors picked for this palate are not equivalent to the body color that is shown in this picture. We got all samples like it was recommended and the colors picked come out as blue or grey with no in between.
I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed with the palette. I want to clarify that the Stormy Night Palette was created using the exact paint colors featured in the cover image—the body, trim, and accent shades are all pulled directly from the design.
That said, paint colors can look very different once they’re tested in real life. Factors like natural light, time of day, surroundings (brick, roof, landscaping), and even the sheen of the paint can shift how a color appears—sometimes leaning more blue, gray, or green than expected. This is why I always recommend sampling the colors on your home before making a final decision.
The guide also includes tips on what to do if a sample doesn’t look quite right—sometimes going slightly greener, warmer, or more saturated is the key to getting the exact look you want.
