Painting your home’s exterior is a big investment, and choosing the wrong colors can be an expensive mistake. What if you could see different color schemes on YOUR house before the painters arrive?

That’s exactly what my Exterior Paint Consultation is designed to do!

As an experienced interior designer and color expert, I’ll help you find a beautiful, cohesive exterior color scheme that complements your home’s architecture, works with your existing materials, and reflects your personal style.

Best of all, you’ll see realistic renderings of your own home with different color combinations, so you can compare your options and move forward with confidence.

And yes, the entire process is done virtually! I’ve worked with homeowners all across the country.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Your Exterior Paint Consultation includes:

• 4 professionally curated exterior color schemes with coordinated body, trim, and accent colors.
• 4 realistic renderings showing each color scheme on a photo of your home’s front exterior.
• Expert color guidance explaining how the recommended colors complement your home’s architecture and existing materials.
• 1 round of refinements to your preferred color scheme, including up to 3 color variations.
• A final exterior color plan with specific paint color recommendations and guidance on where to use each color.
• Exterior paint sampling guidance to help you test your selected colors before painting.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1: Purchase Your Consultation

Click the “Add to Cart” button and complete the checkout process.

Step 2: Send Me Your Exterior Photos & Preferences

After purchasing, I’ll send you an email requesting:

• One clear, high-resolution photo of the front of your home, taken as straight-on as possible.
• Information about your existing roof, brick, stone, and other permanent exterior materials.
• Your color preferences, inspiration photos, and any ideas you’d like me to consider.
• Any HOA color restrictions, if applicable.

Step 3: Receive Your Custom Color Schemes

Within 5 business days of receiving your complete project information, I’ll email you four professionally curated exterior color schemes, each shown in a realistic rendering of your home.

You’ll be able to compare different combinations of body, trim, and accent colors and see how they work together on your exterior.

Step 4: Fine-Tune Your Favorite Scheme

Once you’ve reviewed your four options, you’ll choose your favorite direction.

Your consultation includes one round of refinements, allowing you to explore up to three color variations of your preferred scheme. For example, you might want to see a lighter body color, a different trim color, or another front door option.

This refinement round is intended to fine-tune one of your initial concepts rather than create entirely new color schemes. Please submit your refinement requests together within 14 days of receiving your initial concepts.

Step 5: Receive Your Final Color Plan

Once we’ve refined your preferred scheme, I’ll provide your final rendering along with specific paint color recommendations for your home’s body, trim, and accents. You’ll have a coordinated exterior color plan that you can share with your painting contractor.

Step 6: Test Your Paint Colors

Before painting, you’ll need to purchase paint samples and test them on your home’s exterior. Paint colors can look different depending on your home’s lighting, surroundings, and existing materials. I’ll provide guidance to help you evaluate your samples and make your final decision with confidence.

Your consultation is complete once your final color plan has been delivered. Additional color recommendations, revisions, or renderings are available for an additional fee.

I limit the number of consultations I accept each week so I can give every project the attention it deserves.

THE SMALL PRINT

Paint Color Sampling

Paint colors can look different on every home and under different lighting conditions. While I’ll recommend colors based on your photos, preferences, and existing exterior materials, computer renderings cannot perfectly reproduce how paint will look in real life.

For that reason, I strongly recommend purchasing and applying actual paint samples to your exterior before making your final decision. You’ll be responsible for evaluating the samples in your home’s unique lighting conditions.

Exterior Renderings & Project Scope

This consultation includes four initial color schemes rendered on one front exterior photo of your existing home.

The service focuses on paint color selection for your home’s existing architectural features and materials. It does not include architectural changes, landscaping modifications, or the selection or visualization of new roofing, stone, brick, siding materials, or other exterior finishes.

Additional exterior views, such as the back or side of your home, are not included but may be available for an additional fee.

Revisions & Consultation Timeline

Your consultation includes one round of refinements to your preferred initial color scheme, with up to three color variations.

All refinement requests must be submitted together within 14 days of receiving your initial concepts. If no revision requests are received within that period, your consultation will be considered complete with the initial concepts provided.

Once your final color plan has been delivered, the consultation is complete. Additional revisions, new color directions, or requests to revisit the project at a later date will require an additional fee.

HOA Approval

If your home is subject to HOA restrictions, please provide those requirements before your consultation begins. While the renderings may be helpful when submitting colors for approval, HOA approval is not guaranteed and is the homeowner’s responsibility.

Use of Project Images

I may choose to share the renderings created during your consultation on my website or social media for marketing purposes. I will never disclose your personal information and will take reasonable steps to remove identifying details, such as your address.
