With today being the official first day of Fall, I wanted to make sure our front porch was ready. So, without further ado, here is our Fall Front Porch…

Earlier this week, you saw the cute bench we made.
I picked up this beautiful lantern at a Home Tour in San Jose, California last year. I just add a new little pumpkin every year.
On the other side of the porch, we have this fun little display with crates and wheat. I bought the bushel of wheat and metal canister from HomeGoods.
I was planning to make some crates, but then I saw some unfinished pine crates on sale ($12 each) at Lowe’s and discovered that buying the materials would end up costing me more than if I just bought the pine crates. Here is a picture of what the crates looked like before I started.

I stained the crates, and put a light polyeurethane finish over the stain. Stacking them on top of each other and adding a few pumpkins really gave it a finished look.
I also bought this beautiful wreath from Kirkland’s. They always have a great selection of Fall decor this time of year.
Hope you enjoyed the tour of our Fall Front Porch! How do you like to decorate your front porch for Fall?
