Choosing art for your home can be a huge challenge! You might not know where to shop for art, or you might not know what styles you like, or you don’t have a clue which art will look best in your space. You’re not alone! Sometimes, we just need a little guidance, or someone to help do the shopping for us, and show us a few great options to choose from. That’s where this post comes in…here are my top picks for the best art from Minted.
Ah, Minted…one of my favorite places to shop for art! If you’re not familiar with Minted, it’s a company that works with independent artists to showcase their creative, amazing talents. Minted has held design challenges for many years, finding the very best, independent artists out there, and then working with them to produce and sell their designs in various forms (stationary, art, home decor, etc). I love Minted because I can always find beautiful artwork that is unique, often customizable, and very reasonably priced. In fact, it’s usually the first place I go when I look for art.
The art I chose to feature for this post made the cut because they have beautiful color palettes, they tend to be bestsellers and designer-favorites, and they work well in a variety of room styles…and because I like them the best. ๐

1. Mesmerize by Melanie Severin
One of my go-to prints for bedrooms and living rooms, by one of my favorite artists on Minted. I love the feminine, serene look of this print, and just can’t decide which of the two color options I like best!
2. The Island by S.L. Bird
There is something so lovely about the simplicity of this piece, and the isolation of the island. This is a great choice for any room in the house that you want to have a relaxed, quiet, peaceful vibe.
3. Plant Cell 2 by Mary Gaspar
For all of you contemporary and minimalist style lovers out there, this one is for you! The watercolor strokes give it a more organic and approachable look, creating a softer vibe compared to some of the other stark, black and white modern art out there.
4. Cascade by Sonal Nathwani
I love the abstract blooms and bright colors of this painting. The quiet beauty of this art is perfect for your daughter’s bedroom, or any place you want to add a feminine touch.
5. Stormy Pier by Kamala Nahas
I will admit that I’ve never been a huge fan of using photography as art in my own home. What can I say? I love a good abstract. BUT, there are two artists that I have found whose photography I would gladly welcome onto my walls. One of them is Kamala Nahas (the other is Lupen Grainne), and this gorgeous Stormy Pier is a personal fave. Use it in any room for a great coastal vibe, and check out her other great California-cool photographs for kid and teen spaces.
6. Sombras by Lulaloo
Every time I see this piece, it catches my eye. Not because it’s flashy, or colorful, but because of its utter simplicity. Where are all of these people going? Are they happy or sad? I don’t know, but I love the neutral colors, and minimalist look of the people and their reflections.
7. Reaching Sky by Michelle Lee
If you have a room in your home with navy blue accents and brown leather furnishings, this art would look amazing on your walls! It’s bold, and abstract, and makes your eyes wonder if it’s a landscape, or just a random mix of contrasting colors. It has a more masculine feel to it, and is a great choice for making a strong statement in your room.
8. A Winter’s Walk by Alison Jerry Designs
I just used this one in a client’s coastal-style office, and it looks even more gorgeous in person. This landscape features the beautiful colors of sunrise on the beach, and has a calm, uplifting vibe to it. It will look beautiful in any room, and works with just about any style.
9. History Repeats & Last Tuesday by Jennifer Daily
Some art comes in pairs, and while both of these look great separately, they look even better together! This artist likes to work with paper and collages, and the result is beautiful, intentional art. I’ve seen these two pop up in a couple of designer rooms lately. The colors in these two pieces are neutral enough to go with just about any color palette, and they work perfectly over two nightstands in a bedroom.
10. Unbridled by Melanie Severin
I mentioned earlier that this artist is one of my favorites on Minted, and here’s another print from her that I love. She started this piece with careful, deliberate strokes, but as things progressed, she felt like it was too controlled, and used an “unbridled,” free painting approach for the rest of it. That’s definitely something I can relate to in life! I love the soft colors (available in two additional choices), and the circular flow of this art.
11. Dusk in the Chisos by Kati Ramer
This artist has a couple of prints in this series, and they’re all beautiful! I particularly love the sweeping look of this sky, and the abstract-ness of the mountains in the desert. This art is another one that can be used in any room and with just about every style. Be sure to check out the others in this series, because they are great for pairing together on the wall!
12. Connections & Retro Stripes by Celeste Duffy
This twosome has such a fantastic retro vibe to it, and I’m diggin’ it! The mix of colors and the contemporary style are so perfect for a mid-century modern or bohemian look. I also love these two prints for boys’ rooms.
13. First of October by Kelly Money
If you’re a landscape lover, you’re gonna love this one! The colors are just spectacular, and it’s so serene and lovely to look at. I love how the composition of clouds and sky looks so realistic from a distance, and more flowy and abstract as you get closer. A great choice for living rooms, bedrooms, or the office.
14. Ivy by Parima Studio
This art has such great energy! The bright greens and pinks, and textured brush strokes are invigorating, but it has enough white to keep the bold colors from being overpowering. Use this art anywhere you need to bring in a little more color and excitement!
15. Bay Laurel II by Khara Ledonne
This artist has a great eye for color! She has a beautiful collection of prints that combine bold and subdued colors in a seamless way. I love the way this piece balances cool and warm neutrals to create artwork that will work in almost any space, while capturing the texture of the leaves in a vibrant and alluring way.
