Are you ready for some shopping? Amazon Prime Day 2023 starts tomorrow! Every year, Prime Day offers huge savings on everything from electronics to furniture, and tons of other home essentials. It’s the best time of the year to buy from Amazon, because the discounts are outstanding! This year, the big event runs Tuesday, July 11 through July 12, and in this post, I’ve summarized everything you need to know about Amazon Prime day. I’ve also added my top ten picks for this year’s big sale, so you’ll have plenty of inspiration.

What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is an annual sale where Amazon Prime members can get huge savings on more than a million products. It’s like Black Friday, but in the middle of July. I can’t say this enough…if you’re a regular Amazon shopper, or just in the market for some back to school items or new kitchen tools, this is the time to buy!
Now, in order to get these exciting Amazon Prime Day deals, you must be an Amazon Prime member. But, don’t worry! If you aren’t a member yet or you just want to test it out, you can get an Amazon Prime FREE 30-Day Trial. Cancel anytime.
I personally have been an Amazon Prime member for many years, and I LOVE it! I spend way too much money on Amazon every year because they make it so easy, and they always have everything I’m looking for.

How to Shop on Amazon Prime Day 2023
There are a few different ways you can shop Amazon Prime Day, and you can use whatever method works best for you. Just make sure you start by getting a Prime Membership, or take advantage of the 30-day FREE trial, if you don’t already have a membership. Here are three steps I recommend taking during the sale to find all the best deals.
#1: Shop ‘Today’s Deals’ Page on Prime Day
If you don’t have anything particular in mind, but want to see all of the savings available on Prime Day (July 11 and 12), just head on over to the Today’s Deals page on Amazon. That’s where you’ll see all of the special Prime Day deals, and you can filter by category, brand, or rating to see the best of what is offered.
#2: Add Favorites to Your Cart Now, and Check for Deals on Prime Day
If you have some home decor or electronics items in mind that you already want, you can always add these items to your cart now. You won’t know whether or not they’ll be on sale on Prime Day, or how much you might save, but you can check back on Prime Day to see what the savings are. It’s a great way to prepare for the sale ahead of time, and be ready to buy when everything goes on sale. This is my preferred way to shop the sale, and I can tell you that my online cart is very full right now. Not everything in my cart will go on sale, but when it does, I’ll be ready.

You know when you go to a fast food restaurant, and your drink has those perfectly round little nuggets of ice that are so satisfying? Well, now you can have that perfectly-shaped ice in your drink at home to chew on and crunch whenever you want! I’ve seen the GE Opal Nugget Ice Maker on a lot of must-have lists for Amazon Prime this year, so if you’re interested in it, better act fast. It’s going to be a hot buy this year!
2. Samsung “The Frame” TV
The Samsung Frame is a TV that is designed to look like a slim art picture when not in use, but functions just like a normal flat screen TV when you’re ready to watch. If you haven’t seen it, you absolutely HAVE to check out this video.

NEST Candles are one of my all-time favorites. They have a luxurious look, last forever, and smell amazing. They’re a little on the pricey side, so Amazon Prime Day is the perfect time to stock up on NEST candles for your home or for gift giving. I’m particularly enamored with the Pumpkin Chai, which I burn constantly during the Fall season, and the Holiday Scented Classic candle, which has an iconic Holidays-at-the-mall scent.
5. Nearly Natural Fake Plants
Nothing quite beats a the look of a real plant, but I just can’t keep them alive (something about forgetting to water them). So, me and fake plants get along great, and they “live” all over my home. My favorite brand for lifelike faux plants is Nearly Natural, and they have several beautiful varieties of silk trees and plants on sale for 40-60% off during Amazon Prime Day this year. Quick tip: Nearly Natural faux plants come with a simple pot, so I recommend getting yourself a more attractive planter basket for use in your home.

If you have pets, or maybe a lot of dust circulating in your home after a recent renovation, then I highly recommend getting small air filters to use throughout your home. We have three of these Levoit Air Purifiers at our house…one in the main bedroom, where our animals like to join us for sleeping, and one in the living room and family room. I love them because they’re so quiet, yet highly effective at removing pollens, dust, and pet dander. Plus, the filters are incredibly easy to change out.
8. Memory Foam Mattress Topper
Do you have a mattress that’s feeling a little too firm, but you’re not ready to buy a new one? It’s on sale now with savings over 25%, and is a great way to modernize your entry or powder room.
10. Apple Watches & AirPods
Prime Day is a great time to buy Apple products at a reduced price. This year, AirPods Pro and Apple Watches are on sale for some of the lowest prices I’ve ever seen. I love my Apple Watch for fitness tracking, and quick checks of incoming text messages and emails while I’m away from my phone.
