Lately, I’ve become a huge fan of wallpaper murals for kid and teen spaces, and I’m not alone. You’ll see gorgeous wallpaper murals these days in many designer blogs, HGTV shows, and magazines. Not only are they a perfect way to add a sweet and unique touch to nurseries and playrooms, but teens love being able to make a bold statement of their own, as well! Wallpaper murals are easy to install, and you can install them on just one wall in the room, rather than wallpapering an entire room.

I have two favorite places to shop for murals: Rebel Walls and anewall. Check out some of the beautiful murals from these vendors!

This gorgeous mural makes a stunning accent wall. Probably too much for the entire room, but using this on one wall behind the bed is a great way to add drama and wow factor!

What better way to encourage your kids to read that using a mural of books to create the look of a library! I love that the mural blends in so seamlessly with the white walls of this room, and the fun pops of color the mural adds to the room.

This black and white city mural is so cute for a playroom. It’s the perfect backdrop for daydreaming of far away places!

Wallpaper murals are a great way to add a subtle theme to a room.  When you think of space and the Moon, you often think of dark, bold colors. But this mural is soft and neutral, and helps create a relaxing space.

What better way to amp up the design of a bathroom than with a mural! I love this vintage ship mural, and keep thinking how interesting it must be to look at while doing your business.  🙂

These wallpaper murals are so much fun! I wish these were around when I was a kid, or when my kids were younger and used to let me decorate their rooms. The next time you’re thinking about ways to add character to a room, or amp up the design of a space, consider adding a wallpaper mural as an accent wall. With so many options to choose from, you’re bound to find something amazing and unique for every room in your home.
