As a designer, Instagram is one of my favorite places to get inspiration. Every day I see pictures of gorgeous spaces, and designs that are helping to set and define trends in the industry. Though there are a ton of famous interior designers on Instagram, my favorites are the ones that share tons of beautiful, inspiring interior spaces that would work for everyday people and their homes. Call me crazy, but if I follow someone for interior design, I don’t want to see a bunch of pictures of their lunch or their new outfits. And, while I like seeing cutting-edge, push-the-design-envelope designs, my clients are typically looking for designs that are a little more practical than that. Here is a list of my favorite interior designers on Instagram. If you don’t follow them already, you should!

@studiomcgee

One of my all-time favorites, Studio McGee is a husband and wife team that launched their design firm in 2014. It has quickly grown to become one of the most well-known interior design studios in the nation, and once you see their work, you’ll understand why. They are known for their fresh, clean, beautifully-balanced spaces that feel both modern and classic at the same time.

@em_henderson

Emily Henderson is a home stylist, TV personality, and previous winner of HGTV’s Design Star who has a strong commitment to approachable, vintage-inspired design. You’ll love her blog, filled with tips for helping readers create a beautiful home, no matter your budget.

@amberinteriors

Amber Lewis is a pioneer of the white-wall, laid back California aesthetic, and is a household name among designers. Her designs are contemporary, yet cozy, with perfect attention paid to the little details that make a space unique and amazing. She’s got a fabulous online shop, Shoppe Amber Interiors, as well.

@beckiowens

There’s a good reason why Becki Owens has over 1 million followers on Instagram. Another California designer, Becki has a talent for simple, clean, elegant design, and understands the importance of adding character into every space she designs.

@lindsay_hill_interiors

Kathleen Field (not Lindsay) is the Utah-based interior designer behind Lindsay Hill Interiors. She has bought, lived in, decorated, built, or renovated 13 homes of her own, so she has gained a ton of great design experience to share with the world. Her design style is clean, neutral, and organic, with lots of texture.

@thehouseofsilverlining

A friend turned me on to The House of Silver Lining while I was living in Colorado, and I’ve enjoyed following Shauna Beltramo ever since! While her style has changed over the years (as we all do), her current home in Colorado is a gorgeous modern, mountain beauty, and the pictures are just stunning!

@parkandoakdesign

Park & Oak is a relatively new find for me, but it was instant Insta-love! Christina Samatas and Renee DiSanto are the designers behind Park & Oak, and they are known for creating visually stunning, yet functional and comfortable homes.

@lexiwestergard_design

Lexi Westergard is a Phoenix-based interior designer, with a timeless, polished design style.  She understands the difference between a house and a home, and knows that great design shouldn’t mean you have to sacrifice practical living.

@eyeforpretty

A fellow Bay Area designer, Nicole Salceda understands how to effortlessly blend old and new, high-end and discount, to achieve a beautiful, attainable design. While she maintains a beautiful Insta-feed, don’t go to her site looking for a great blog…just sayin’.

@katemarkerinteriors

Kate Marker Interiors is another recent discovery for me, and I think you’ll love her approachable design style and attention to the little details that make a space shine. She is a master of the fresh, clean look, but isn’t afraid to incorporate rich colors and lots of texture into her designs.

You may have heard of some of these fabulous interior designers on Instagram already, but if not, please check them out! Many of them share my same design style and aesthetic, so I think you’ll really enjoy their feeds. Also, please share with me your favorite designers that you think I should be following on Instagram. I’m always looking for new feeds to follow, and I LOVE getting my daily dose of design inspiration!
