Ask any designer, and they’ll tell you that lighting is a key element of any great design. Not only do light fixtures provide functional lighting for everyday tasks, but they are super important for setting the style in a space, and adding that all-important wow factor.  Today, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite places to shop for lighting. You’ll find a range of places to fit every budget – some you’ve heard of before, and some that may be new to you.  All of these shops have great quality lighting, and styles that you’ll love!

Serena & Lily

I’m a huge fan of Serena & Lily’s bedding and pillows, but their lighting options are equally fantastic. If you like a refined, casual, coastal look, you are going to love their selection of beaded, rattan, and honeycomb light fixtures. Not to mention their gorgeous collection of lamps, too! Get ready to spend some cash, though, because their signature breezy look doesn’t come cheap. I recommend waiting for a sale, and then getting all of your favorites at once.

West Elm

West Elm is a great source for today’s popular mid-century modern style, and I just love their lighting selection. The prices are reasonable (can get a little high), the styles are on-trend, and the quality is great. What more can you ask for? With frequent sales, you’ll rarely need to pay full price, and you’ll end up with a quality light fixture that looks way more expensive than it is. This is often one of the first places I visit for lighting ideas.
